arm chair philosophy

in the ugliness of life lies its beauty
in the futility of life lies its importance

Yet another skin

The comedian quits, it's a birth of a new consciousness, a tectonic shift from stand up comedy to poetry, the dawn of a new facade. It's been too long, shedding on one more layer of skin

Pseudo Intellectual

I like those moments,in the company of friends when we talk like armchair philosophers, blabbering about things we don't or atleast I don't understand properly, just for the heck of it. I have always loved a good converstion,it has never been a game of winning brownie points for me, but a platform for sharing and testing my opinion about something and learning from someone else. Those are the times I feel free  and through my speech try to be or feel the person i always wanted to be.Those discussions have a therapautic effect on me.Talking about anything out of the blue, anything abstract, has always given me a kick, only thing is that there are so few people u can do that with.

Conformity is a malice

People don't like it when they are confused.Conformity is there desire. What they don't realize is that conformity is a malice.Confusion is a necessity,it's a catalyst to creation. You totter on the path with confusion, struggling with ideas half baked and half formed but you stay with them and from that takes birth a creation.

Stranger in my own city

Counting my steps, way back home,
battered and bruised with filthy clothes on
Looking through my eyes u can feel the glow,
as I look for the faces I know.
I have been away for quite so long,
lost the count of memories past gone
Moments they seem to stretch like ages long,
as I count my steps way back home.

In the streets of my city lost long,
faces I knew are all gone.
Streets have changed;
looks on the faces have changed,
even the smiles of children are strange
The streets have lost their serenity,
makes me feel like a stranger in my own city.

Karmic cycle ???

They say they quote you oh Lord!,
life is the retribution of your own deeds my son
as you sow so you reap, goes the gospel,
life is governed by a Karmic cycle
a question arises Almighty
what does a new born sow in the barren lands of fate,
to reap all his life the slow death
of starvation, Karmic cycle ??????
